Kerry Harris' Churchyards

Anyone who is interested in Kerry's work should have a look at his new website recently published called "Travels with my Sketchbook". To view it click here.

Kerry says "Above is a painting I did of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in the centre of Cambridge. It’s also known as the Round Church. It was built around the year 1130 and the shape was inspired by the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem".

While on a family outing to Grantchester, near Cambridge, Kerry took time out to record this image of the local church.

More submissions from Kerry. He has told me "A bit of a departure for me; imaginary churchyards". He adds "I like the jumbled up headstones with all the ivy and overgrown greenery climbing over them".

The same religious theme, but this time on a much grander scale.
